Deb Jones, PhD

Deb has an academic background in social and behavioral psychology.

She taught a variety of psychology classes at Kent State University for 20 years. Her current focus is on training animals and coaching animal trainers. Deb has always worked to make complex ideas and information clear and straightforward for her students. Her specialty is taking scientific information and theories and making them easy to apply to real-life situations.

While she has achieved upper level titles with multiple dogs in agility, obedience, and rally, her focus has always been on developing strong foundation skills and a healthy, mutually enjoyable relationship between dog and owner. Deb has also just published her 12th book on dog training. She is an avid blogger as well.
